China's major carriers, including the China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines and Air China, have announced their international passenger flight schedules in October.


China Southern Airlines


The carrier operates international flights between Shenyang (in Liaoning province) and South Korea's Seoul Incheon International Airport and Japan's Tokyo Narita International Airport on Sundays and Thursdays, respectively.

Compared with its September schedule for international flights to and from Guangzhou, China Southern Airlines will open new round-trip flights to Manila and Kathmandu and add one more flight to Los Angeles. Additionally, the airline has resumed services in its "Guangzhou-Jakarta" (round trip) route and "Ho Chi Minh City-Guangzhou" (single trip) from September 19 and 27 respectively.

Some Beijing-bound flights will no longer be diverted to other cities outside Beijing as first points of entry from September, including those from Phnom Penh, Athens, Copenhagen, Bangkok, Stockholm, Vienna and Vancouver.

Compared with its international flight schedule in September, the carrier will offer new flight services on "Wuxi-Seoul", "Kunming-Phnom Penh" and "Kunming-Dhaka" routes, and add one more flight on "Shanghai-Auckland" and "Kunming-Rangoon" routes. Besides, flights between Shanghai and Manila in the Philippines have been suspended since September 18 amid epidemic concerns, the airlines said.
