A wave of weak cold air has arrived in northern Guangdong early this morning and is expected to reach Guangzhou later today, bringing rain and a temperature drop of 2-3℃ in the city.

1. China's Center for Disease Control and Prevention warned yesterday that people with cross-border travel plans during the National Day holiday may be put under medical observation for 28 days at most—14 days upon arriving their destinations and 14 days upon returning back to China.

 

2. Starting Thursday, Guangzhou Library will raise its total number of daily visitors to 13,000 and open all service areas (except 24-hour Self-service Library).

 

3. The upgraded Beijinglu Pedestrian Street reopens to the public today, inviting visitors to explore some 50 newly developed spots like robot-themed eateries and cultural creative workshops.

1. China and India have agreed not to deploy more troops to the frontline, China's Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
