One of the world's three top carnivals of its kind, the thrilling World Parade Circus will kick off tomorrow at Guangzhou Chimelong Paradise, launching a European-style tour with bizarre and imaginative settings like giant marine animals and colossal dragon-shaped machinery. With exotic dance and acrobatic performances contributed by over 100 skillful performers, the gala will take participants on a magical adventure into their fast-paced and electrifying world.

The China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo (CITIE) is underway in Guangzhou and will last through this weekend, showcasing the new development trend of cultural tourism.

An international tourism trade platform, this year's CITIE attracts exhibitors from over 40 countries and regions and Chinese delegations from over 20 provinces. Amazing travel packages with great discounts and various tourism-related activities are waiting to greet visitors this weekend.

As a way to promote tourism, consumption vouchers valued at 10 million yuan are now issued at 10 a.m. every day through September 13 at Union Pay and the WeChat account, "广东文化旅游" (ID: visitgd). The vouchers can be used on-site at the fair.

Sunflower Garden, Nansha Wetland Park 百万葵园、南沙湿地公园

The Sunflower Garden, a 4A-level attraction in Nansha district, is embracing tourists with an ocean of different kinds of flowers and dozens of amusement facilities. Teachers, retired ones included, and those with teaching certificate even can get free entry to the garden through this Sunday.

Another lure of the trip will be the Nansha Wetland Park, home to over 100,000 migratory birds like rare black-faced spoonbills and white spoonbills that gather in the wetland in autumn. Appreciate birds skimming over and rippling the river water; take a stroll or ride along the boulevard, bathe in shafts of sunlight that filter through tree shades; or breathe freely at the oxygen bar...... The park makes an ideal choice for people to enjoy peaceful time close to nature. The park issues half-price tickets to the public throughout September.

Drama carnival: a feast of drama lovers 戏剧嘉年华

Presenting award-winning dramas and opera shows in the city downtown free of charge, a drama carnival is going to kick off this weekend in Yong Qing Fang (永庆坊) and the Cantonese Opera Art Museum as part of the 10th Guangzhou Art Festival. The carnival will bring to the stage dramas like Hostage (人质), winner of the Most Creative Drama in the 2019 Guangzhou College Students Drama Festival and classic Peking Opera shows like the Orphan of Zhao Family (赵氏孤儿).
