China will establish medical consortiums to implement grid-based management of medical services.

我国将建立医疗联合体，施行医疗服务网格化管理。

Grid-based management means that local health authorities divide a city or county into several grids, based on factors including geography, population, medical needs, and medical resource distributions. In each grid, a major hospital, other hospitals and primary-level clinics will jointly provide integrated and continuous healthcare services to residents in the grid.
